The i wireless Center is located on the banks of the Mississippi River in the Quad Cities which consists of cities in eastern Iowa and northwestern Illinois in Moline, IL . The Quad Cities is made up of Moline and Rock Island in Illinois and Davenport and Bettendorf in Iowa .
Centrally located and easily routed between Chicago, St. Louis, Indianapolis, Minneapolis and Des Moines. The metro market is 400,000 strong with over 1.5 million people living within an hour’s drive of the Quad Cities. Since opening many of the greatest acts in music and theater have performed at the i wireless Center.
The i wireless Center consists of several flexible components: the 12,000-seat arena (which seats 11,500 end stage, 12,000 center stage, 10,700 for basketball, and 9,500 for hockey and arena football), a theater curtaining which enables the arena to be down-sized to several theatre-sized capacities, and the 20,000 square foot conference center which also offers 11,000 square feet of lobby space.
